Dear Blue Planet Energy Customer,
Our LFP battery module supplier, Murata (formerly Sony), has decided to cease manufacturing the module that serves as the foundation of the Blue Ion Energy Storage System. To continue offering LFP-based systems, we would need to source modules from lower-cost lower quality Chinese suppliers—a path we have chosen not to pursue.
Instead, we are actively researching new, more efficient, and cost-effective battery chemistries. Once we complete this R&D phase, we will introduce a next-generation successor to the Blue Ion system.
