RE+ in Anaheim began with a comedic keynote from Hasan Minhaj, award-winning political commentator, writer, comedian, television host, and producer. He followed up his keynote by moderating an opening session with Mary Powell, CEO, Sunrun and Arshad Mansoor, President & CEO, Electric Power Research Institute. From there, attendees could access over 250 education sessions, which included the new Master Speaker Series that hosted Robert Andres, Senior Policy Advisor, Senate Finance Committee; Henk Rogers, Founder & CEO, Blue Planet Energy; Kate Henningsen, Co-founder/Chief Operating Officer, Arcadia; and Steve Powell, President and CEO, Southern California Edison, among others. The Series also included opening video remarks from U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm. In addition to the five education theaters and a live microgrid demonstration, the show floor featured over 800 exhibitors providing solutions across the clean energy landscape and included companies in solar, energy storage, hydrogen, fuel cells, EV infrastructure, software & digital solutions, startups, and more.
